![]() CONFIG_RUST currently supports x86_64, but does not support it under UML. With the previous patches applied, adding support is trivial: add CONFIG_HAVE_RUST to UML if X86_64 is set. The scripts/generate_rust_target.rs file already checks for CONFIG_X86_64, not CONFIG_X86, so is prepared for UML support. The Rust support does not currently support X86_32. Also, update the Rust architecture support documentation to not that this is being maintained: I intend to look after this as best I can. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
