Adjust how the CSEE direct call hack is used.
The results of months of testing combined with help from ASUS to
determine the actual cause of suspend issues has resulted in this
refactoring which immensely improves the reliability for devices which
do not have the following minimum MCU FW version:
- ROG Ally X: 313
- ROG Ally 1: 319
For MCU FW versions that match the minimum or above the CSEE hack is
disabled and mcu_powersave set to on by default as there are no
negatives beyond a slightly slower device reinitialization due to the
MCU being powered off.
As this is set only at module load time, it is still possible for
mcu_powersave sysfs attributes to change it at runtime if so desired.

ASUS firmware resets OOBE state during S4 suspend, so the keyboard
blinks during resume from hibernation. This patch disables OOBE state
after resume from hibernation.

In order to protect the platform_profile_handler from API consumers,
allocate it in platform_profile_register() and modify it's signature
accordingly.
Remove the platform_profile_handler from all consumer drivers and
replace them with a pointer to the class device, which is
now returned from platform_profile_register().
Replace *pprof with a pointer to the class device in the rest of
exported symbols.

Currently the platform filter cannot access any driver-specific state
which forces drivers installing a i8042 filter to have at least some
kind of global pointer for their filter.
Allow callers of i8042_install_filter() to submit a context pointer
which is then passed to the i8042 filter. This frees drivers from the
responsibility of having to manage this global pointer themself.
Also introduce a separate type for the i8042 filter (i8042_filter_t)
so that the function definitions can stay compact.
Tested on a Dell Inspiron 3505.

On some machines like the ASUS Vivobook S14 writing the thermal policy
returns the currently writen thermal policy instead of an error code.
Ignore the return code to avoid falsely returning an error when the
thermal policy was written successfully.

When changing the thermal policy using the platform profile API,
a Vivobook thermal policy is stored in throttle_thermal_policy_mode.
However everywhere else a normal thermal policy is stored inside this
variable, potentially confusing the platform profile.
Fix this by always storing normal thermal policy values inside
throttle_thermal_policy_mode and only do the conversion when writing
the thermal policy to hardware. This also fixes the order in which
throttle_thermal_policy_switch_next() steps through the thermal modes
on Vivobook machines.

When support for vivobook fan profiles was added, the initial
call to throttle_thermal_policy_set_default() was removed, which
however is necessary for full initialization.
Fix this by calling throttle_thermal_policy_set_default() again
when setting up the platform profile.

After commit 0edb555a65 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.
Convert all platform drivers below drivers/platform/x86/ to use
.remove(), with the eventual goal to drop struct
platform_driver::remove_new(). As .remove() and .remove_new() have the
same prototypes, conversion is done by just changing the structure
member name in the driver initializer.
While touching these files, make indention of the struct initializer
consistent in several files.

On some newer laptops ASUS laptops SPS support is advertised but not
actually used, causing the AMD driver to register as a platform_profile
handler.
If this happens then the asus_wmi driver would error with -EEXIST when
trying to register its own handler leaving the user with a possibly
unusable system. This is especially true for laptops with an MCU that emit
a stream of HID packets, some of which can be misinterpreted as shutdown
signals.
We can safely continue loading the driver instead of bombing out.

The current legacy WMI handlers are susceptible to picking up wrong
WMI event data on systems where different WMI devices share some
notification IDs.
Prevent this by letting the WMI driver core taking care of retrieving
the event data. This also simplifies the legacy WMI handlers and their
implementation inside the WMI driver core.

This is a dependency for a set of WMI event data refactoring changes.
The new ROG Ally X functions the same as the previus model so we can use
the same method to ensure the MCU USB devices wake and reconnect
correctly.
Given that two devices marks the start of a trend, this patch also adds
a quirk table to make future additions easier if the MCU is the same.

On almost all ASUS ROG series laptops the MCU used for the USB keyboard
also has a HID packet used for setting the brightness. This is usually
the same as the WMI method. But in some laptops the WMI method either
is missing or doesn't work, so we should default to the HID control.

Add support for vivobook fan profiles wmi call on the ASUS VIVOBOOK
to adjust power limits.
These fan profiles have a different device id than the ROG series
and different order. This reorders the existing modes.
As part of keeping the patch clean the throttle_thermal_policy_available
boolean stored in the driver struct is removed and
throttle_thermal_policy_dev is used in place (as on init it is zeroed).

In kbd_rgb_mode_store the dev_get_drvdata() call was assuming the device
data was asus_wmi when it was actually led_classdev.
This patch corrects this by making the correct chain of calls to get the
asus_wmi driver data.

MCU in to a low-power mode when sleeping. This mode can cut sleep power
use by around half.

The previous work to allow the MCU to be resumed correctly after sleep
and resume tried to take the shortest possible time. However as work
continues in various other parts of the s2idle subsystems it has shown
that it wasn't entirely reliable.
If the MCU disable/enable call is done correctly the MCU fully removes
its USB endpoints, and this shows as a full USB device reconnection on
resume. When we tried to short this as much as possible sometimes the
MCU doesn't get to complete what it needs to do before going to low-power
and this affected the reconnection.
Through trial it is found that the minimum time required is approx 1200ms
to allow a proper disconnect and disable, and the same amount of time on
resume is required to prevent a rapid disconnect/reconnect happening on
seemingly random occasions. To be safe the time is now 1500ms for msleep.

Laptops with any of the ppt or nv tunables default to the minimum setting
on boot so we can safely assume a stored value is correct.
This patch adds storing of those values in the local struct, and enables
reading of those values back. To prevent creating a series of byte holes
in the struct the "<name>_available" bool is removed and
`asus_sysfs_is_visible()` uses the `ASUS_WMI_DEVID_<name>` directly.

Add support for the Vivobook dgpu MUX available on the ASUS Viviobook
and some of the other ranges (Zen).
This MUX functions exactly the same as the existing ROG MUX support so
the existing functionality now detects which MUX is available and uses
that for control.

This changes all *_show attributes in asus-wmi.c to use sysfs_emit()
instead of the older method of writing to the output buffer manually.
Follow the advice in Documentation/filesystems/sysfs.rst:
show() should only use sysfs_emit() or sysfs_emit_at() when formatting
the value to be returned to user space.

AAEON PICO-TGU4 board doesn't have any LED but there are bogus LED
controls under /sys/class/leds:
$ ls /sys/class/leds
asus::kbd_backlight asus::lightbar platform::micmute
The reason is that the ~0 read from asus_wmi_get_devstate() is treated
as a valid state, in truth it means the device is absent.
So filter out ~0 read to prevent bogus LED controls being created.

The WMI core now takes care of draining the event queue if asus-wmi
is not loaded, so the hacky event queue handling code is not needed
anymore.

Since 64f67b5240 ("leds: trigger: audio: Add an activate callback to
ensure the initial brightness is set") the audio triggers have an
activate callback which sets the LED brightness as soon as the
(default) trigger is bound to the LED device. So we can remove the
call to ledtrig_audio_get.
Positive side effect: There's no code dependency to ledtrig-audio any
longer, what allows to remove some Kconfig dependencies.
